My credit card transaction was rejected. Why?

If your credit card payment was not successful, please check the following:

  • Make sure you entered your card number, expiration date, and CVV code (on the back of the card) correctly.
  • Please note that the minimum amount for credit card payments is €2.
  • Card payments may also be declined by the card processor based on its internal risk assessment. While we work with processors that have high approval rates, we cannot guarantee that every card will be accepted.
  • On the checkout page, you will usually see more than one credit card payment option. If one option does not work, please try another available method.

Common reasons for card rejection include:

  • Your personal details were not fully completed on our website
  • The card used is not a Visa or Mastercard
  • You are logged in from an IP address that differs from the country where your card was issued (using a VPN may help)
  • Your card was issued by a bank in a country not supported by the card processor (for example: the USA, China, Norway, or Turkey)

If you are unable to complete your payment for any of the reasons above, we recommend using one of the alternative payment methods available on our website.

Bitcoin is a payment option that works for almost all of our customers. Creating a Bitcoin wallet can also be helpful for many other purposes.
