Why is the barcode on my ticket scan blackened?

The barcode is blackened on the scanned copy to prevent the ticket from being claimed directly with the lottery after winnings have already been credited to your PlayLottoGlobal account. This helps avoid duplicate claims.

Please note that only the scanned copy is altered in this way. The original physical ticket is not blackened.
